Evelyn Hobdy Perkins, 96, of Bowling Green died at 5:45 p.m. Nov. 18, 2001, at her home.The Allen County native was a teacher for the Warren County School System, a member of Barren River Road Homemakers Club, The Christ Episcopal Church Guild and Hobson House Association. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Hobdy and Era Thompson Hobdy and wife of the late Lawrence Milton Perkins.Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Episcopal Church, where she was a member, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, is in charge of arrangements.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Christ Episcopal Church Building Fund, c/o Charles M. Moore Jr., 1215 State St., Bowling Green, Ky. 42101.Survivors include a son, Joe P. Perkins of Bowling Green; four daughters, Carroll Travelsted and Lou Goidel, both of Bowling Green, Mary McMillin of Georgetown and Anne McBee of Burlington; two brothers, Dick Hobdy of Lexington and John Hobdy of Scottsville; four sisters, Elsie Bell and Effie Buchanon, both of Scottsville, Elenor Dotson of Bowling Green and Era Leta Orrison of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
