MORGANTOWN Thomas Lee Adkins Sr., 67, of Owensboro died at 8 a.m. Oct. 18, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Hospital.The Butler County native was a retired farmer and a member of Newman Baptist Church. He was a son of the late William Edward Adkins and Clydia Marie Jones Adkins.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Chapel with burial in Lumbustown Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Ruby Adkins; two sons, Thomas Lee Adkins Jr. and Thomas Wayne Adkins, both of Owensboro; two daughters, Donna Hamilton of Hartford and Connie Horn of Maceo; two sisters, May Martin and Uneusus Jones, both of Owensboro; and six grandchildren.
