Donald Ray Donnie Embry, 50, of Bowling Green died at 11:12 a.m. Sept. 23, 2000, at his home.The Louisville native was a self-employed contract laborer. He was a son of the late Lindel Clyde Embry and Margie Irene Johnson Embry of Bowling Green, who survives.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Iva Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Satterfield Cemetery in Butler County. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church. J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel, is in charge of arrangements.Other survivors include his wife, Rosetta Harper Embry; two daughters, Rosemary McKinney and Carrie Lee Embry, both of Bowling Green; a son, Donald Wallace Bub Embry of Bowling Green; three sisters, Juanita Lindsey and Lolitta Burnette, both of Bowling Green, and Kimberly Berg of Illinois; four brothers, Lindel Calvin Embry of Roundhill, Windel Lee Embry of Cromwell and Lloyd Raymond Embry and Floyd Laymon Embry, both of Bowling Green; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
