Helen Jane Shaeffer, 84, of Warren County died at 2:55 a.m. Jan. 29, 2005, at a local nursing home.

The Warren County native was a foster grandmother, a graduate of Rosevelt High School in Dayton, Ohio, and member of First Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late John L. Stanley and Mary Elizabeth Wade Stanley. She was preceded in death A private memorial will be held at a later date and there will be no visitation or burial as the body will be cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha Ernst and her husband, Howard, of Bowling Green and Ruth Karns and her husband, Ralph, of St. Cloud, Fla.; three grandchildren, Aaron Ernst and his wife, Beverly, of Laughman, Fla., Sheila Yusko and her husband, John, and Carrie Gump and her husband, Joey, all of St. Cloud; and seven great-grandchildren, Ryan and Heather Ernst, Breann and Dylan Spencer and Lynsey, Danielle and John Jay Yusko, all of Florida.  Daily News ·813 College St. ·PO Box 90012 ·Bowling Green, KY ·42102 ·270-781-1700
