AUBURN Roberta May Gibbs Robbins, 94, of Auburn died at 12:35 a.m. Aug. 28, 2000, at an Auburn nursing home.The Logan County native was a homemaker and a member of Auburn Homemakers Club. She was a daughter of the late Thomas B. Gibbs and Rosa Lee Herndon Gibbs and the wife of the late Paul E. Robbins.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Friendship Baptist Church, where she was a member and a member of Womens Missionary Society, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday and at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Young Funeral Home.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Friendship Building Fund.Survivors include two daughters, Rosa Catherine Hughes of Auburn and Ruth Marie Shifflett of Shakertown; a sister, Elizabeth Stratton of Russellville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five great-stepgrandchildren.
