JEFFERSONTOWN – Allen County-Scottsvilles season ended with a 34-11 record one game prior to the championship game of the fast pitch softball state tournament at the hands of the DuPont Manual Lady Crimsons (36-2). Its really hard making it this far and just falling a little short, Lady Patriot Mandy Jeskie said. The two teams in the final are the only two teams here that beat us. While holding Allen County-Scottsville scoreless, DuPont Manual was able to score one run in the second through fifth innings for its balanced attack.
