DONELSON, Tenn. Lowry R. Allen, 65, of Nashville, formerly of Bowling Green, Ky., died June 5, 2000, in Nashville.The Owensboro, Ky., native was a retired independent wholesale furniture salesman and an employee of Professional Accountant Services in Brentwood. He was a son of the late Elvet Young Allen and Grace Martin AllenFuneral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home with burial in Henry Cemetery in Corinth, Miss. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Brawner Allen; two sisters, Tylene Leeper of Denver and Gay Nell Edds of Owensboro; and three brothers, Talmage Allen of Ocala, Fla., Don Allen of Berwyn, Ill., and Ed L. Allen of Owensboro.
