LAFAYETTE, Tenn. Funeral was Sunday for Charles Wood, 69, of Fountain Run, Ky., who died Dec. 22, 2000, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Ky.The Allen County native was a farmer, a construction worker, and a deacon of Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Maxie H. Wood and Texann Downing Wood.Funeral was Sunday at Fountain Run Old Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Fountain Run Cemetery. Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette was in charge of arrangements.Survivors include his wife, Doris Shaw Wood; four sisters, Marjorie Thompson of Louisville, Ky., Mavis Harston of Bowling Green, Ky., Barbara Stinson of Gamaliel, Ky., and Mary Pergrem of Arizona; a brother, Stanley Wood of Fountain Run; and several nieces and nephews.
