MUNFORDVILLE A Munfordville man was shot in the back Tuesday and his girlfriend was charged in the incident, according to Kentucky State Police.Rodney Staples, 34, was in stable condition today at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave following the 5:30 p.m. Tuesday shooting at the Cub Run Highway home he shared with Sabrina Vibbert, 22, of Munfordville, state police said.Vibbert was charged with first-degree assault and lodged in Hart County Jail in lieu of a $75,000 cash bond.The Hart County Sheriffs Department responded to the shooting and arrested Vibbert but turned the investigation over to state police because Staples is a cousin of Hart County Sheriff Jeff Staples.
