GLASGOW Edna McGuire Atwell, 81, of Glasgow died Feb. 5, 2000, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.The Barren County native was a member of Order of the Eastern Star No. 257 and First United Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late George B. McGuire and Rose Chambers McGuire.Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Fellowship Sunday School Class, First United Methodist Church, 500 South Green Street, Glasgow, Ky., 42141.Survivors include her husband, James G. Atwell; two sons, Doug Atwell of Glasgow and Jimmy Atwell of Louisville; two sisters, Pernie Jewell Williams of Indiana and Helen Perkins of Glasgow; four brothers, Russell McGuire of Illinois, William McGuire of Indiana, J.D. McGuire of Glasgow and Rex McGuire of Illinois; five grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and four great-grandchildren.
