VERSAILLES Frances R. Dixon, 97, of Versailles, formerly of Bowling Green, died Jan. 2, 2000, at a Versailles nursing home.The Leitchfield native was a teacher in Rocky Springs and at Versailles High School and was an associate professor of speech and drama at Western Kentucky University. She was a member of The Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green, Browning Club and A.A.U.W., and was an adviser to International Students Association. She was a daughter of the late Lilburn Swinford Rogers and Adelia Clement Rogers.Funeral was at today at Blackburn & Ward Funeral home with burial in Scottsville.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Taylor Manor Nursing Home, 300 Berry Ave., Versailles, Ky. 40383 or Versailles Presbyterian Church, North Main St., Versailles, Ky. 40383.Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Blackburn of Versailles, Mary Warren of Alexandria, Va., and Lucinda Sullivan of Louisville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
