Candidate’s claim that garbage collection a cash cow meets criticism

FRANKLIN Dorothy Cabbage Lornston, 74, of Franklin died Feb. 25, 2005, at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. The Chicago native was member of Fairview Baptist Church of Franklin and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a daughter of the late Hazel and Beulah Clark Carver and wife of the late Willard Cabbage. She was preceded in death Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Crafton Funeral Home, with burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today at Crafton Funeral Home.

Survivors include a daughter, Denise Bronson of Franklin; a son, Dennis Cabbage and his wife, Patricia, of Texas; five grandchildren, Jason Cabbage of Kentucky, Jerrad Cabbage of Texas, Wade Blake and Jonathan Baldwin, both of Franklin, and Justin Lawrence of Bowling Green; and three great-grandchildren, Preston, Cody and Jasmine Blake, all of Franklin.
