Jewell Tomes Puckett, 92, of Bowling Green died at 11:56 Oct. 30, 2000, at The Medical Center.The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and a member of Westminster Bible Church. She was a daughter of the late Charles Anderson Tomes and Elizabeth Williams Tomes and wife of the late W.H. Puckett.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Scholarship Fund, c/o College Heights Foundation, Western Kentucky University, 1 Big Red Way, Bowling Green, Ky. 42101.Survivors include four sons, Charles H. Puckett, Dillon Hugh Puckett and Eugene T. Puckett, all of Bowling Green, and Bill D. Puckett of Radcliff; a daughter, Irene Puckett Motley of Richmond, Va.; two sisters, Alma Crenshaw of Brownsville and Ruby Littrell of Louisville; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
