SCOTTSVILLE – Gary Dean Summers, 36, of Scottsville died Aug. 25, 1999, in Scottsville as a result of drowning.The St. Clair County, Ill., native was a carpenter. He was a son of Andrew S. Summers of Boulder, Ill., and Doris Ann Tucker Crouch of Scottsville, who survive.The body will be cremated. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Goad Funeral Home.Other survivors include a stepfather, Wayne Crouch of Scottsville; four brothers, Michael Summers and Ricky Summers, both of Centralia, Ill., Roger Summers of Skiatook, Okla., and Russell “Rusty” Crouch of Scottsville; a sister, Cathy Westerfield of Auburn; four stepbrothers, Carl Crouch of Fenton, Mo., Gary Crouch of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Randall Crouch of Missouri and Larry Crouch of Kaiser, Ark.; and a stepsister, Tammy Johnson of Missouri.
