OKLAHOMA CITY – James Davis Drane Mauldin, 83, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Bowling Green, died Aug. 3, 1999, at Mercy Hospital.The McCool, Miss., native was a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Sigma Chi and Rotary Club. He was a son of the late Lester Colby Mauldin and Ada Belle Drane Mauldin.Memorial service was Aug. 6, 1999, at Church of the Redeemer Episcopal Church. Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Jim Mauldin Eagle Scout Endowed Scholarship, St. Gregory’s University, Shawnee, Okla., 74801.Survivors include his wife, Martha Mauldin; three sons, James Mauldin Jr. of Tulsa, Okla., Stephen L. Mauldin of Portland, Ore.; and Christopher A. Mauldin of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Martha Camp of Oklahoma City; and six grandchildren.
