Gwendolyn Mae Gwen Boards, 53, of Bowling Green died at 6:56 a.m. Dec. 21, 1999, at The Medical Center.The Simpson County native was a homemaker. She was a daughter of William Goodnight of Bowling Green, who survives, and the late Sarah McGotham Goodnight.Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, where she was a member, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Bailey-Turner-Winkenhofer Funeral Home.Other survivors include her husband, Ernest Neal Boards; two sons, William Tink McFadden of Bowling Green and Clifton Boards of Glasgow; three daughters, Felisa Boards, Yolinda Boards and Tonya Boards, all of Bowling Green; six sisters, Linda Sue Anthony of Bowling Green, Patricia Rowe, Cathy Williams and Regina Williams, all of Nashville, Tenn., and Ann Velvet and Monica Bell, both of Franklin; four brothers, Larry Goodnight and Bobby Williams, both of Franklin, Doug Goodnight of Cincinnati, and Willie Lee Goodnight of Nashville; 14 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
