A Bowling Green restaurateurs business has gotten a bit bigger.In July, Mariahs owner Rick Kelley purchased four Dalts restaurants from the T.G.I. Fridays chain. Minority stockholders Shannon Powell and Zerro Shirwani, both managers at Mariahs, will work to renovate the restaurants in Nashville, Tenn.; Indianapolis; Columbus, Ohio; and Burbank, Calif., and bringing them to their full potential. Each restaurant features a 40s diner motif with mahogany interiors and other period items. It is a very unique concept, Kelley said. It was a good opportunity to get into multiple restaurants in a quick fashion. Once those restaurants beginperforming at capacity, Kelley will consider expanding. Obviously we would be very strong on locating one in Bowling Green, he said.
