Louise Flatt Richards, 84, of Bowling Green died at 2 p.m. Oct. 2, 1999, at a Bowling Green nursing home. The Robertson County, Tenn., native was a former Scott Tobacco Co. employee, a former Shoneys waitress and prep cook and a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She was a daughter of the late Wilson Fitts and Kellie Purdue Fitts and wife of the late Charles Richards. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m.Tuesday at Popular Springs Cemetery in Edmonson County. Visitation will begin at10 a.m. Tuesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Avenue chapel.Survivors include a two daughters, Lucille Burk of Louisville and Barbara Flatt of Robertson County; a son, Earl Thomas Cavett Flatt of Bowling Green; four sisters, Ida Slack of Bowling Green, Ruby Thomas of Fayetteville, N.C., BelleAshlock of Ohio and Josephine Fitts of California; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
