BLOOMINGTON, Ind. Nicholas Ryan Sears, grandson of Bowling Greens Alice Winkenhofer and Robert Sears, was honored on Sept. 25 at the 1999 Indiana track and field and cross country awards banquet.Sears, a senior, was presented the Alpha Beta Award, Big Ten Scholar Athlete Award and received Indianas Big Ten Meet Athlete of the Year Award.He has been a four-year track athlete, competing in the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles.
