Harold Renfrow

Harold Renfrow, age 82, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at the Skyline Medical Center in Madison, Tenn. The Butler County native was born Jan. 12, 1929. He was retired from Renfrow Heating and Cooling, was a Korean War Army veteran, a member, deacon and forefounder of the Renfrow Trinity Baptist Church and a member of Reedyville Masonic Lodge. He was the son of the late Herman and Beulah Cox Renfrow. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Renfrow; and infant brother, Billy Gene Renfrow.

Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held today from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until the funeral, all at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Chapel Union Cemetery in Morgantown.

Survivors include his wife, Delois Embry Renfrow, Morgantown; daughter, Venetta Gail Embry, Bowling Green; three granddaughters, Michelle Neeper (Rusty), Bowling Green, Elizabeth Houchens (Tim), Springfield, Tenn., and Rachel Mayes (Craig), Bowling Green; great-grandsons, Jack and Grant Neeper, Jude Houchens, Conner and Will Mayes; stepgrandson, Brad Neeper; stepchildren, Mac Embry (Gay), Morgantown, Gary Embry, Beaver Dam, Maxine Childress (Dudley), Morgantown, Ramona House (Terrell), Morgantown, and Elaine Vincent (Keith), Quality; 11 stepgrandchildren, seven stepgreat-grandchildren; two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Renfrow, Morgantown, and Ralph Renfrow (Wilma), Morgantown; sisters, Ethel Nash, Morgantown, and Jonell Stice, Morgantown; and several nieces, nephews, a host of friends and loved ones.
