Current Arkansas offensive coordinator Paul Petrino arrived in Bowling Green on Saturday evening to interview for the head coaching position at Western Kentucky.
WKU athletic director Wood Selig confirmed to the Daily News on Saturday that Petrino was in fact in town to interview for the job, but declined to offer further comment on how the interview went.
Petrino arrived at the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport on Saturday evening - hours after Arkansas dispatched of Mississippi State in Little Rock, Ark.
Petrino was then dropped back off at the airport by WKU associate athletic director of communications Todd Stewart at around 10 p.m. When asked how his interview went, Petrino refused to acknowledge any questions on the matter - declining to speak.
